(TSXV: EAC \u2013 \u201cEarth Alive\u201d <\/strong>or the<strong> \u201cCompany\u201d)<\/strong> today announced that it has obtained an order from the Superior Court of Qu\u00e9bec (the \u201c<strong>Court<\/strong>\u201d) extending the delay to file a proposal pursuant to the provisions of the <em>Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act<\/em> (Canada) (the \u201c<strong>BIA<\/strong>\u201d) until January 30, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>This extension will allow the Company to complete, under the supervision of the Court and with the assistance of the Trustee, its ongoing sale and investment solicitation process (the \u00ab<strong>SISP<\/strong>\u00ab), in order to conclude a transaction with a view to maximizing the value of the Company\u2019s business and assets.<\/p>\n<p>The Company will provide further updates as developments regarding the notice of intention (\u201c<strong>NOI<\/strong>\u201d) proceedings and the SISP warrant.
