David, PDG

David Gilmour a débuté sa carrière avec Navion, un groupe de consultation financière établi à Toronto, où il a travaillé pendant huit ans dans tout le Canada, principalement dans le secteur des soins de santé. Il a ensuite rejoint Le Cirque du Soleil, une entreprise de divertissement dont les bureaux principaux sont situés à Montréal, à titre de Directeur de la division chargée des partenariats internationaux. Au cours de son mandat de quatre ans au Cirque, David a formé pour l’entreprise une équipe de sociétés partenaires de premier ordre sur quatre continents. Son instinct pour établir de solides alliances stratégiques internationales lui a valu la reconnaissance de l’industrie en Amérique du Nord et à l’étranger. Pendant son passage au Cirque, le Groupe IEG, dont le siège est à Chicago, a qualifié David comme étant l’un des 10 meilleurs chefs d’alliance corporative aux É.-U.

Après le Cirque du Soleil, David a occupé des postes exécutifs de direction et de partenariats d’affaires au sein de l’industrie du divertissement. En 2006, un changement de secteur commercial l’a amené à prendre les commandes d’un fabricant de produits chimiques lourds et de lubrifiants. C’est dans le cadre de ces fonctions qu’il s’est familiarisé avec les nouvelles technologies propres, alternatives et de haute performance disponibles pour une variété d’applications industrielles. Il a fait l’acquisition de Earth Alive Resources en mai 201, une entreprise de R&D spécialisée, œuvrant dans le secteur des AgTech. La compagnie fut renommée Earth Alive Clean Technologies pour entamer la commercialisation de ses technologies au niveau mondial.


Marcelo Soutullo, VP Global Operations, Dust Solutions

Prior to settling in Montreal in 2000, Marcelo Soutullo spent more than 15 years working in the maritime industry, managing fleet personnel and coordinating marine standard certifications. As an independent consultant, he focused on sustainable and renewable energy production using organic material, and represented Earth Alive products to distributors based in the Caribbean and Latin America. Marcelo joined Earth Alive as Vice President of Business Development in March of 2013.


Dr Viviane Yargeau, CTO

Dr Viviane Yargeau is a chemical engineer specialized in chemical and environmental engineering. Dr. Yargeau serves on various committees including the international management committees of the Advanced Oxidation Processes specialist group of the International Water Association (IWA) and on several journal editoral boards. Dr Yargeau’s research focuses on the control of environmental pollutants through improved mitigation technologies. Dr Yargeau has established strong national and international collaborations with researchers, toxicologists, and industry. She started to work with Earth Alive in 2011 and became CTO in 2014.


Steve Perrone, CFO

Steve is a senior executive with over 30 years of experience in financial and executive management. Steve has been the CFO of several multinational public and private companies and has been a key player in raising more than $230 million in debt and equity and in completing several acquisitions both domestically and internationally. Steve holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Concordia University.  He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a Chartered Accountant Qualification (CA).


Michael Warren, VP Global Operations, Agriculture Solutions

Michael built and managed LFP Solutions, an organic soil inputs distribution company, which joined Earth Alive in 2014. With a natural propensity for adventure and discovery, Michael consistently identifies innovative business concepts and brings them to market, with a focus on products that are earth and human-friendly. At Earth Alive, Michael is responsible for product and market development in various parts of the world, particularly Latin America and Africa. He has a Business Degree from Bishop’s University.


Simon Neufeld, Chief Agronomist

Simon Neufeld is a Certified Crop Adviser with over 10 years of experience in organic agriculture. He has worked in many facets of the organic industry as a researcher and agronomist, helping conventional farms transition to organics and organic farms improve their productivity. Prior to joining Earth Alive, Simon was Agronomist for Homestead Organics, Eastern Ontario’s premier organic feed mill and farm supply company. Simon holds an MSc in Plant Science from the University of Manitoba.
